Nautics in the foreground of the largest call campaigns of the CNTB

The conference Investing in Marinas as a Key Factor in the Development and Strengthening of Nautical Tourism, organized by Novi list and Adriatic Croatia International Club - ACI, gathered the leading people of the Croatian nautical sector in ACI Marina Cres, and was attended by CNTB Director Kristjan Staničić. In addition to Director Staničić, the panel discussion was attended by Josip Bilaver, State Secretary for the Sea and EU Funds at the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Development, Kristijan Pavić, President of ACI, Director of the Croatian National Tourist Board (CNTB), Renata Marević, Director of Marina Punat and Andrija Šimić, owner of the maritime agency Simmor Marine LTD.

Nautical tourism is currently at the level of pre-crisis 2019 according to the achieved results, it was pointed out in the panel discussion in which there was talk about the future of nautical tourism, but also problems such as extending concession periods that limit the larger investment cycle. That nautics is one of the most recognizable tourist products in our country, said director Staničić, reminding that since last year it has been easier for sailors to register and pay the tourist tax, by launching the eNautika application.

"Last year, we started to apply such a method of collecting tourist tax, which, in addition to making it easier for sailors, also increased the collection. Last year was a transitional year, while this year we have fully digitized this service so that guests can practically pay the fee already in their own country, before setting off. By the way, when it comes to nautical promotion, we always include nautical tourism in all our promo activities, fair appearances, as well as special campaigns with the largest portals, including Google and Lonely Planet ", concluded Staničić and added that this year the two largest call campaigns put management nautical.
