Ivan Kljaković Gašpić overall winner of the cruiser regatta Strožanac Open 2021
Thirteen sailboats with over 60 sailors participated in the Strožanac Open 2021 regatta organized by JK Strožanac from Podstrana. After two sailing, in a combination of triangle and pole sailing, in the length of six nautical miles, in the wind on gusts and up to 20 knots, the first south wind that turned sharply and lebić, with annoying rain, triumphed Ivan Kljaković Gašpić at the helm of the sailboat "Melges 24" named "Polyclinic Nova", from Split JK Labuda.
In the first gathering, the team "Mila 8" celebrated with Ciril Vrančić at the helm, in front of "Adio pameti" by Goran Vlahović, and the third-placed "Arija" and skipper Mirko Stupal. As for the second group of sailboats, the crew of "Farabut" with skipper Marko De Micheli Vitturi triumphed in front of second-placed "Jene Q" coxswain Petar Milun, and third sailors on deck "Solta 2" skipper Dino Glavurtić. In the third group of the classification, the fastest was the sailboat Bambi's "Polyclinic Nova", which is also the overall winner of the regatta. The second place was taken by the team on the ship "Nora" by skipper Frabo Bebić, while the third place went to the cruiser "Bob and Rock" Jere Vidović.
All of them were presented with valuable prizes provided by WASI, Fragmat, Salona Var, Adri Nautic, Restaurant Šešula and the Association of Sports Associations of the Municipality of Podstrana.
