Representatives of the Chinese CRBC got acquainted with the possibilities of building the bridge Pašman - the mainland
Representatives of the Chinese company CRBC, which is building the Peljesac Bridge, visited the Municipality of Pasman to get acquainted with the possibilities of building a bridge Pašman - mainland. At a meeting on July 1st with Mayor Krešimir Ćosić and his associates, CRBC representatives informed the hosts that they would successfully complete work on the Pelješac Bridge early next year and that Croatia already had all the necessary equipment and experts to hire if a decision is made at the local and state level on the construction of the Pašman - mainland bridge.
The Head of the CRBC Representative Office in Croatia, Mr. Lu Shengwei, and the Chief Engineer of the Pelješac Bridge, Mr. Wang, offered their hosts cooperation in the development of the conceptual design of the bridge, and discussed all other possibilities of joint action. and finally made friends after a decade of attempts and persistent lobbying for the realization of the most important project for the island of Pašman.
After visiting the planned locations for the construction of the bridge on the Pašman and Turanj sides in the company of representatives of the Municipality of Pašman, CRBC representatives were delighted with the geographical position, clear sea and tourist and other economic potentials that the connection between the mainland and the island of Pašman would bring in the future. Also they said that the bridge with a professional and thoughtful project, which respects the beauty of that part of the Croatian coast, can be completed relatively quickly.
CRBC representatives are aware of the wishes of the people of Pašman and while waiting for the completion of an expert study on the construction of the bridge initiated by the Municipality of Pašman and funded by the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Croatia, it remains to be wished that a pleasant and mutually beneficial meeting will turn into a professional collaboration.
