Croatian builder signs deal with Turkish charter firm

Croatia’s Kufner Yachts has signed a dealership agreement with Turkish charter firm rudder&moor. Kufner Yachts was founded by engineer Damir Kufner, former CEO of the Nautika Kufner Charter Company, in order to meet the internal needs of their charter company before expanding its construction services to outside demands. Turkish rudder&moor, as well as being a yacht dealer, is also a charter company operating in Turkey with a fleet of catamarans and monohull yachts up to 12m. The company is also the dealer for Dolphin Catamarans from Brazil.

Can Topçu, marketing director of rudder&moor, says that the Kufner 50 and Kufner 54 models in particular should prove popular in the Turkish charter market as they have five cabins and are well-suited as charter vessels. They should also be interesting to private buyers due to Kufner’s price-performance ratio. Company rudder&moor, formerly Turmobil Sailing, is part of Turmobil tourism group and entered the yacht charter business in 2020 with two catamarans. The company now has 12 vessels and is planning to add four more catamarans to the fleet soon.
