Polet Furioso defended the title of the Paiška regatta
The 2nd Paiška regatta, which sailed in two races on the route Split - Stari Grad (Hvar) - Split, has ended. The fastest sailing boat of the "Paiška regatta" is Polet Furioso with helmsman Nikola Dešković from JK Labud, which won this title last year as well. The crew of the ship TP52 needed 6:10:09 to sail from Split to the Stari Grad and back. The sailing boat Polet Furioso was the first to reach the Stari Grad, while in the second stage, the one to Split, the fastest was Toto travel tutta Trieste with helmsman Mario Hrvoj from JK Trogir who sailed into Split at 12:41:10.
The sailboat Polet Furioso, coxswain Nikola Dešković from JK Labud, was the first to reach the finish line in Stari Grad, which took a little less than 3 and a half hours. A dozen knots were sailed in the storm to the gates of Split, then a maestral of the same strength all the way to the Stari Grad, with sunny conditions that allowed the entire fleet to finish the regatta within the time limit. The second place went to the Scorpio sailboat with helmsman Krešimir Đakulović (JK Vis), while the third place went to the Bare V sailboat of the skipper Mirko Fatović (JK Labud).
