European show season launches in Lisbon and Birmingham

Lisbon will host the first European boat show of the 2022 season when the long established Nauticampo opens to the public on the 16th February and it will be followed a day later by a new show at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham UK which will run until the 20th.

There have been many previous boat shows in Birmingham going back to those held in the Bingley Hall in the 1960s and were continued at the NEC with some breaks and changes of ownership until 2011 with last edition being held jointly with the caravan show. However, it has recently been revived by the new company Boat Life Events and although relatively small with around 150 exhibitors and 120 boats it should attract a good attendance being at the centre of one of Britain’s largest conurbations.
