2023 Paris Boat Show cancelled

The Fédération des Industries Nautiques (FIN) has announced that following intensive industry consultations the 2023 Salon Nautic de Paris will no longer be held in Paris after a 60-year history.

As with many major European city shows, the Nautic has struggled in recent years to operate a viable event as costs have escalated and attendances declined.

Paris joins London, Amsterdam, Hamburg, Copenhagen, Brussels, Madrid, Vienna, Oslo and Dublin which have all ceased to run in-door winter boat shows in recent years.

The FIN will now organise a shorter show in a new location probably outside Paris in October 2024 of which further details will be announced by October this year. However, an initial statement suggests that the new show would most likely combine an in-water and indoor element and that it would also serve as a B2B (business to business) as well as a B2C (business to consumer) exhibition.
