2022 Oslo Boat Show cancelled

2022 Oslo Boat Show cancelled

The Oslo International Boat Show, planned for March 2022, has been cancelled. The show – “Sjøen for Alle 2022” – will not be held due to uncertainty over product deliveries, according to a press release from the organisers.

“For the moment the boat business is working through a list of orders and needs to refill its stock again. There´s a big uncertainty among several large companies if they will get enough boats to put on display as early as March 2022. This is the most important argument for several exhibitors and why they can´t attend Sjøen for Alle 2022,” says Robert Kippe, communications manager at Norges Varumesse, in a press release.

“Limited access to goods makes it impossible to arrange a boat show of the right format and quality as anticipated by the audience and visitors. Sjøen for Alle will make a strong comeback in 2023”, says Sjøen for Alle project manager Per Sårheim at Norges Varemesse. The decision has been take in cooperation with trade organisation Norboat, which owns Sjøen for Alle.
