Pičuljan Squama 21 Sundeck - a new version of the successful vessel of the Rab shipyard
The Pičuljan Squama 21 - Sundeck is a new variant of the successful Squama 21 Open which debuted in 2022 to rave reviews. Both models represent a fresh approach to accessible and efficient boats from the Croatia’s oldest boat builder known for their high quality, custom motorboats. It is characterized by excellent maritime capabilities, stability, calmness at high speeds and agility. With the sundeck version, you get a berth in the cabin under the bow deck, a spacious sundeck, an enlarged cockpit and an enlarged central console.
The sundeck has side-positioned steps for easy access to the bow from both sides where removable berth cushions are installed. Under the bow there is a bed and a central removable floor. The bed has a length of over two meters comfortably accommodating almost anyone and there are two storage compartments beneath it. The interior is lined with Alcantara leather, which attests to the quality and attention to detail of this innovative vessel.
Unlike the Open version, the Console of the sundeck version is moved forward, allowing for more room in the cockpit, where there are swiveling and adjustable skipper's chairs and a collapsible aft bench, which converts to a lounge area or secondary bed. The central console has been expanded to accommodate a large windshield and rectangular stainless steel handrails. At the stern, there are two storage compartments and a spacious stern platform with swimming ladder and a fresh water shower.
The tested version is also equipped with additional options, including their "In house" designed and manufactured hard top that covers the entire cockpit. The hard top opens up additional possibilities, such as installing side and bow shades, rod holders, radar, solar panels and the like. There is also an all stainless steel electric anchoring system including anchor windlass, chain slider, 5 kg anchor, and 20 meter chain.
Additional equipment includes a Fusion advanced audio system with MS-RA770 Apollo touch unit, four speakers, subwoofer and 1800W amplifier. The Squama 21 - Sundeck is equipped with a Garmin GPSMAP 923xsv Plotter fish finder, and has a heavy duty pole for towing skiers, a Seadek deck pad and a 20 liter stainless steel electric refrigerator. The vessel is powered by a Mercury ProXS 175 V6 engine with an electro-hydraulic steering system and reaches a speed of up to 40 knots.
