New and unique Salona 46 already has a buyer in Washington

After delivering to Salona 380 the first sailboat in which an electric motor was installed in July this year, the first Salona 46 with electric drive was presented for the first time. Unlike the Salona 380, which is powered by one, the Salona 46 has two electric motors and propellers. It is sold on the American market and will be removed by the end of the year, depending on the mode of transport, delivered with a berth from Marina Kaštela to a buyer from Washington, according to the portal novac.jutarnji.hr.

- After four years, this is again a new model of sailboat produced in our shipyard. Salona 46, is a new sailboat with electric drive and is unique in Croatia, but also on the world market, because it is equipped with two electric motors and propellers, which allows it to have excellent sailing performance and simultaneous battery charging. In this new Salona 46 model, we have implemented advanced propellers that can change the angle of the propeller blade independently of sailing speed, which allows charging batteries at any speed. We created this new model a year and a half from idea to its realization. We have made a big step forward in the luxury boat market - says Marin Donadini, director of Salona shipyard, adding that the starting price of the basic model Salona 46 is exactly 259,000 euros, and when the electric drive system is installed, the price increases by another 70,000 euros.
