Jet Capsule Sport mini-yacht ready for 2024
Just launched is the Jet Capsule Super Sport (SS) ‘mini yacht’, which will be available in 2024. Measuring 8m (26ft) in length, the boat has a carbon-fibre shell formed through vacuum-infusion moulding techniques.

Compared to its predecessors, the new model sheds 500kg, resulting in an overall weight of 3,200kg (7,055lb). This reduction enhances the watercraft’s manoeuvrability and reduces its environmental impact, while ensuring optimal performance on the water, the company says.

The Jet Capsule SS comes equipped with a 640hp Hamilton Jet Drive gas engine for jet-drive propulsion up to a top speed of 38kt, and is reportedly capable of a sprint to 32kt in just 12 seconds. Its design encompasses a full electric docking system, allowing seamless transition to an electric-only mode for low-speed cruising and docking purposes.
Inside, the craft offers versatile layout options, accommodating amenities such as a dining area, beds, and a toilet, while comfortably seating up to 10 passengers. Its spacious rear facilitates easy boarding and disembarking, with the option to incorporate a sliding door for added convenience. Additionally, a rear ladder enables effortless rooftop access, complete with a sunbed lounge.

Manufactured in Italy, the construction period spans 6-18 months. Pricing details are yet to be disclosed.
